My work is my experience with everyday objects; things that surround me. I construct images to not only match my aesthetic concept but to achieve my visual idea of any given object.

The choosing of an object is not based in inspiration of or an inexplicable feeling about. The moment of choice is not one of creation; it is a moment in which I use my experienced eye and sensibility to forge a new significance for that object. I remove its utilitarian sense and gift it with my personal language.

My images are rigid and static. They are quiet. Silence is the element they have in common. I believe in a pact between the object and me, which allows me to recover the dignity of its silence.

There is no magic involved. Or rather, there is only one trick: I photograph to reveal what sits behind my eyes.

All images featured here, following the photography characteristics, could be printed in a large range of size. Every piece is printed on high quality paper and mounted on dibond with protective lamination on the image side.
